We’ve caught election fever at Petals By Xavi so we couldn’t resist sharing The Knot’s photos of the candidates’ weddings. While Barack and Mitt might differ on topics like the economy, social issues, and foreign policy, I think one thing we can all agree on is that they looked fabulous on their wedding day!
We posted about our lovely couple back in February but we just got photos back from their Hotel Maya wedding! We love them! The orange and blue were so vibrant that day and it added such an elegant touch to this beach themed wedding. Check out photos from our talented photographers over at True Bliss Photography.
My favorite would be the orange decor down the aisle. But then again, it could be because I love the color orange! But nonetheless, it was a beautiful beautiful day! Congratulations again, Rachelle and Randy. We here at Petals By Xavi wish you two both the best!

Meet Kate & Sean, one of our upcoming couples to have their wedding on May 26th at the Marbella Country Club in San Juan Capistrano. Kate just called our office one day and made an appointment with us for flowers and coordination. Over the last couple of months, we’ve worked closely to create her dream day and now it’s right around the corner!
Marbella Country Club is located in Southern Orange County. Situated in the lush rolling hills of San Juan Capistrano, the Mediterranean-inspired Marbella Country Club sets the standard for outstanding amenities and superb hospitality. Blending the time-honored traditions of golf with modern, upscale conveniences, the club boasts an award-winning championship golf course.
The entrance to the venue includes a large fountain and valet service. Cocktail Hour will take place on the patio with fire pits and piano music and stairs lead to the patio where the reception will be held.
The staff is amazing! A big thank you to Tera and Lyslie for helping us with the process. Check out some of their engagement photos by True Bliss Photography. Kelly is so talented. Can’t wait to work with her again for the wedding date in May.
Meet Rachelle & Randy!
We’ll be doing their florals and coordination for their upcoming wedding on July 27 at the Hotel Maya. Hotel Maya is one of my favorite locations in Long Beach! It is right on the water with views of the Long Beach skyline, the Queen Mary and the Pacific Ocean! It’s modern Latin-inspired decor and bold colors will create a romantic and elegant setting for their special day. To go along with the Maya’s décor, Rachelle is using deep blues and oranges for her florals. We are incorporating palm leaves, curly willow branches, blue hydrangea, orange orchids and orange calla lilies into her bouquets and centerpieces. Oh, we’re excited!
